Human First Learning Labs
Learn by working on something that actually matters to you
They aren’t traditional courses. Instead of everyone following the same fixed curriculum,
we start with the problems people bring into the room.
Learning Labs are small, practical groups for people who want to understand something better, solve a real problem and build the confidence to keep going without us. We identify what you already know, fill the gaps that are getting in your way, try things in a controlled environment and learn from what actually happens.
Real problems. Small groups.
Practical experiments. Useful learning.
HOW LEARNING LABS WORKS
Find the Gaps
We work out what you already understand and identify the knowledge, skills or information that would make the biggest difference
Learn Together
Small groups let us compare experiences, ask questions, share discoveries and see how the same problem behaves differently in different situations
Learn What You Need
We introduce ideas, tools and expertise when they’re useful rather than teaching everything simply because it’s on a curriculum
Build Independence
The aim isn’t to keep you learning forever. It’s to build enough understanding, confidence and capability for you to make better decisions and keep moving
Try It for Real
You work on your own business, project or situation, so learning immediately becomes practical
Start With Your Problem
You don’t need to know exactly what you need to learn. Tell us what’s frustrating you, confusing you or stopping you from moving forward
The Human First Approach to Learning
Learning Labs use the same Human First approach as the rest of our work
You arrive with something you want to change.
We help you understand it
Work out what capability is missing
Create a safe way to experiment
Learn from what happens
As your capability grows, our role reduces
Learning Labs can start almost anywhere
A Lab might begin with a website that isn’t generating enquiries, uncertainty about AI, difficulty creating content, confusing analytics, a business process that takes too long or simply the feeling that you’re doing a lot of digital activity without getting anywhere.
The subject gives us
somewhere to start
The problems people bring us tell us what we need to learn next.
That means some Learning Labs are open to anyone with a shared challenge. Others are created for businesses, teams, communities or organisations that want to explore a particular problem together.
Explore Our Current Lineup
You’ve got the website. Now let’s work out whether it’s actually doing its job.
This Learning Lab is for established business owners with a WordPress website that exists, looks reasonably respectable, but isn’t obviously generating enough visibility, enquiries or business.
We’ll use your real website as the learning environment. Together we’ll look at how people find it, what happens when they arrive and where opportunities may be getting lost.
That might take us into SEO and AEO, content, website structure, customer journeys, calls to action, Search Console or analytics.
We don’t start by assuming what needs fixing. We find the gaps, make practical changes and learn from what happens.

You don’t need more AI tools. You need to know where AI is genuinely useful to you.
This Learning Lab is for business owners who want to explore AI without either ignoring it or trying every new thing that appears.
Bring the real tasks, frustrations and repetitive work from your business. We’ll look for sensible opportunities to use AI, identify what needs human judgement and test useful ideas in a controlled way.
You don’t need to become an AI expert.
The aim is to find one or two things that genuinely make your working life or business better — and understand them well enough to stay in control.
Good for you if
You’re using AI inconsistently, don’t know where to start, or suspect you could be getting considerably more value from it.
You’ll leave with
Practical uses for AI in your own business, experiments you’ve actually tried and a clearer sense of where AI belongs and where it doesn’t.
